"I am Priank Mathur and represent Times of India at South Delhi Biodiversity Park. This is the first initiative that is being done out here today and this is almost like a launch for the Biodiversity Park. In the past also looking at Delhi's environmental conditions, we started this initiative way back in 2015 and it has been 5 years that we have been working on the initiative of working on this plantation along with Hero Motorcorp and Delhi Development Authority and we have planted close to 11.5 lakh plants across different parts of the country, especially Delhi. The whole thought of starting this initiative was when we started looking at Delhi pollution and the rising pollution levels and we started with a campaign called 'Let Delhi Breathe'.
