Do help us identify this yellow coloured moth seen in Landour, Mussoorie. Viewers have suggested that it could be something in Lymantriinae subfamily, perhaps Lymantriades genus? Euproctis sp. would also be very possible. Or is it from the family Erebidae subfamily Lymantriinae (tussock moths) tribe Nygmiini (this equates to the Hampsonian sense of the genus Euproctis) Genus - now there's the tricky part (never mind species); maybe Artaxa, but please see the Nygmiini plates from Moths of Borneo to get an idea of how diverse this tribe is.... Thanks to Marius Aurelian, Alexandre Teynié and Roger Kendrick for their valuable inputs!
