Women of the Jaunsar Bawar region of Uttarakhand, west of Garhwal, in North India talking about their local foods. They start by telling us about their local dish called 'Kaprodi' which is also known as Aska. They make it using rice and corn meal and they eat it with Yoghurt. The women then talk about the green coriander salt they make, which they add to their yoghurt and pulses. They tell us that they eat corn 'Sattu' throughout the year. It is their most eaten item and they eat it with yoghurt and even with water.
