Mini bus falls into gorge in J&K's Kishtwar, in Jammu and Kashmir

Rescued people being taken to hospital after an overloaded mini bus rolled down into a gorge 400 metres deep near Sirgawari village in Kishtwar district of J&K. According to the administration, the 28-seater was carrying 51 passengers. It was on its way from Keshwan to Kishtwar when it skidded off the Keshwan-Thakrai road and fell into the gorge. “Many injured were airlifted to Government Medical College, Jammu,” a senior police officer said. The IAF pressed into service two Mi-17 choppers to ferry the injured to hospitals. The DC assured every possible help for the injured persons.
