On April 5th, the entire country of 1,3 billion shut off their lights to light, candles, diyas and flashlights as requested by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to fight the 'darkness of Corona'. The Prime Minister in an address to the nation called for 9 minutes without lights at 9 PM on 5th April 2020, and to light lamps, candles and flashlights to ward off 'Corona Darkness' and to show that you are not alone. Though we don't know if it scientifically wards off the Coronavirus, the nation observed the request of the PM and this is the scene filmed in New Delhi. Homes are lit with diyas, candles and flashlights. waving of phone flashlights can be seen. Firecrackers can be seen bursting as few incidents indicate some individuals went into celebration mode.
