The flight route passes over some picturesque landscapes of central and southern India of the states of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Coimbatore is the second largest city of Tamil Nadu after Chennai. Approaching the Coimbatore airport one gets a view of the Western Ghats.
