Viewer discretion advised due to graphic visuals. A man in India had a lucky escape when he was saved from a bear attack by a crowd brandishing sticks in Itarsi, Madhya Pradesh. After the man got to safety the group proceeded to beat the bear repeatedly with sticks and stones, and then as the animal lay injured the crowd progressed to burning the creature.
