People illuminated the graves and offer prayer to their ancestors during Shab-e-barat night in Delhi, India. Barat Night can be translated to acquittal/absolution, Urdu: Shabe Barat in Persian, as well as in Urdu) is a Muslim event, celebrated on the 15th Sha'aban, the eighth month of the Islamic calendar. The word "Barat" translation and meaning in English is "the quality of being guileless", "without guile or deception".Muslims may also fast on this day or the day after. On this night Allah said : ` who wants forgiveness, I will forgive you. Who wants food, I will provide food.` Allah said this over again and again until fajr.
