Kumaoni wedding procession in progress women in traditional attire(Rangwali pichaura) attends the event and local folks wearing traditional attire playing traditional music instrument and dancing joins the procession. Women drinking water from a tube well on the way during the procession... 'Rangwali pichaura' is worn by the groom's mother and his female relatives. It is also considered as a good omen for all the rituals. Kumaoni weddings are very simple but are solemnized with a number of rituals and traditions.
