At the One District One Product (ODOP) stall during the India International Trade Fair in New Delhi, visitors can explore a rich display of traditional Indian handicrafts representing regional craftsmanship. The exhibition highlights the diversity of artisanal heritage from different districts of India. One section of the stall showcases Tholu Bommalata, a traditional leather craft from Andhra Pradesh. These beautifully crafted items include decorative leather puppets and artistic lampshades, made using treated leather and vibrant natural dyes. Historically used in shadow puppet theatre, Tholu Bommalata puppets are intricately cut and painted, reflecting mythological characters and folk art traditions of South India. Today, artisans also transform this craft into decorative home accessorie
