Zhungdra is one of the oldest traditional Bhutanese songs that contains lyrics with a religious theme. It is performed in Dzongs, Temples and Monasteries as a offering to the gods and goddesses. It is performed by women. The costumes here are the Bhutanese national dress, a Kira (ankle length dress) with Tego ( short jacket) worn over a Wonju (long-sleeved blouse) and draped Rachu (handwoven scarf).
