Dev Anand speaks about launching actress Zeenat Aman. He says, "It took me 6 months to look for a girl of that nature Zeenat Aman and 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna' I had the script, I conceived the script in Nepal and after we conceived it the only place I could shoot the film was in Nepal so I went to the king of Nepal then the King of the Nepal, King Mahendra we were good friends and I said, I want to make a film here which can only be shot in Nepal. The drug scene, the hippie scene but I can only make it if I get all the facilities. He said, do what you like so that film was conceived there and it was written in Nepal also. I was looking for a girl to play that type of character which had the image of in the script because I met that character in Kathmandu. A girl who was run away from home
