Colorful buntings decorated this religious town and a huge police arrangement was on hand to take care of the small group of protesters. All present in Amritsar to greet Queen Elizabeth and her husband the Duke of Edinburgh during the day-long visit. The Royal couple had come to India from Pakistan and had been greeted with the correct protocol and necessary pomp and pageantry in Delhi.
