Founder of the Missionaries of Charity Mother Teresa who is widely known for her work among leprosy ridden and the poorest of the poor in Calcutta is awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 for her work. A certificate of recognition from the US Congress of her work in the United States hangs on one of the walls of her Missionaries of Charity. The mother to many ill and unfortunate ones, sitting in a wheelchair still talks of working and continuing her work and says the money will be used for God's glory.
