The most festive time of the year for the Bengalis is here. The preparations are in full swing and the craftsmen are working day and night into preparing this area to host more 10000 devotees a day. The interiors of the mandir are in shade of red, green and white with decorations made with thermocol. This year is the 53rd Durga Puja hosted by Matri Mandir, Safdurjung Enclave in New Delhi.
