A display at the Surajkund International Crafts Mela features a collection of antique and traditional objects associated with rural Indian life. The exhibits include brass measuring weights once used with traditional weighing scales, colorful pagris or safas displayed on wooden forms, and heavy cast-iron clothes irons designed for charcoal heating. Traditional wooden wheels and a bullock cart are also shown alongside metal- or leather-bound well buckets known as kuen ke dol, historically used with ropes to draw water from wells. The collection provides a visual look at older tools, household objects, and rural technologies used in India.
