Air Commodore Surendra Singh Tyagi ((retd) narrates his Indo-Pak war experience. Recalling an incident from his earlier trip in train he says, "Something I always feel, when we were young officers, there used to be 8 compartments, trains were very small, two trunks used to be for soldiers. Today when the train have grown to 20/23 compartments, there is no separate trunk for soldiers. They don't have time, they have very few holidays...If we have all the facilities this days , everything is on line. Its not mean I don't want others to be in but we love sitting with happy neighbours. In arm forces, we get which other don't get. I am retired but people still meet like I am still in service. I love meeting new people. Wherever I go, I have a family to stay". He got retired on 31 Dec 1996. This
