Every year from the beginning of July to the 15th of August, one comes across many a kite shop come alive in Delhi. As a symbol of freedom Delhiites fly kites all day. Lal kuan in Old Delhi is one of the best places to shop for good, cheap kites and thread. Lal Kuan is the place where kites can be found in every street and people can be seen huddling up at the nearest kite shop.
