A journey that begins from the moment the wheels of your Royal Bhutan Airlines plane touch the grounds of Paro, Bhutan. Drive up to Naksel resort and walk through the heavy wooden doors. Two Bhutanese men wearing their traditional attire - Gohs - welcome you by placing a traditional Bhutanese khada around your neck. A khada is a white cloth scarf offered to show respect. There is a spa where you can get a massage or you can relax in the traditional Bhutanese hot stone bath. Naksel, a community-based project that is eco-friendly and Energy Saver efficient, blends the heritage of traditional Bhutanese architecture and the comfort of modern amenities.
