The 4th India Internet World is held in Delhi in 2001. This is a convergence platform for IT industries from all over the world. The event is organised under the theme, 'Internet means business'. The president of NASCOM, Kiran Karnik inaugurated the event and spoke on how internet and business. The turnout at the event is smaller than what used to be the previous years due to events happening in the US. South Korea participated in the conference cum exhibition for the first time this year. Mr. Karnik also spoke on how the events happening in the US will not affect the Indian internet space and also the merger of software and hardware.
