Trinamool Congress supporters and workers celebrate their victory in State Assembly Elections in West Bengal, India. TMC Supremo Mamata Banerjee said, 'I want to thank the Election Commission as elections were conducted peacefully in West Bengal.' Banerjee appeared set on Thursday to storm back to power in West Bengal with a two-thirds majority in the assembly, decimating an opposition alliance that charged her with corruption and megalomania.
