At least 15 people were killed and 31 injured when an electric wire fell on a bus carrying guests to a marriage ceremony at Saans village in Tonk district. The bus was carrying 50 to 60 passengers, said witnesses. “It was an unfortunate incident. Fifteen people died and 31 were injured. Most of the injured have been rushed to Jaipur,” Tonk SP Deepak Kumar told The Indian Express. Narayan (15), who sustained severe burn injuries on his midriff, felt the accident could have been averted had the driver not jumped out when the wire fell on the bus.
