In an era of economic globalisation, cultural fusion is a natural by-product. As new experiments bring together performing arts of the east and the west. Rajika Puri says "They also have classical forms, and their music and dance is also intertwined like ours and that what we want to explore. So we are exploring it from a fundamental, from structure, melody, raag, rhythm and then meaning in the poetry. I think you come back to your own tradition much enrich because you understand it from another's point of view." RAJIKA PURI is an internationally acclaimed exponent of two forms of Indian classical dance - Bharata Natyam and Odissi - which she performs in solo recital all over Europe, the United States, Latin America, and India.
