Thousands of people gather at Ram Lila Maidan to celebrate Dussehra festival in Delhi. Effigies of Ravana, Kumbhkaran and Meghnath go up in flames at Luv - Kush Ramlila in Delhi. This is one of the oldest committees in Delhi and has been entertaining locals for decades with their highly creative Ramlila (the story of Ram and how he defeats Ravan) shows at Red Fort replete with some great hi-tech effects. It is always a mesmerizing show accompanied by many popular celebrities. After the burning of the effigies, there is also a cultural show entertaining all. Dussehra marks the annihilation of Ravan, the demon king, by Lord Ram symbolizing the victory of good over evil and is celebrated with much fanfare in Delhi by burning the effigy of Ravan, Meghnath (his son), and Kumbhkaran (his brother
