A school-going boy speaks about his journey into honey bee farming and how he started beekeeping while studying in Class 9. During his school holidays, he first took training in beekeeping and gradually learned practical skills by working alongside his father, who is also involved in the work. Wanting to earn money for his school expenses and pocket money, he decided to keep 10 bee boxes of his own and began managing them separately. His beekeeping activity has since grown, and he now has around 20–25 bee boxes. He explains that each box can produce approximately 40–50 kilograms of honey in a year under suitable conditions.
