Political party like the BJP tried hard to stop it from happening. The Karnataka High Court restrained the state government from assisting the organisers and even the rain gods were playing truant. But on a cool November night in Bangalore, the skies suddenly cleared out. The controversy was given trouble free burial and the magic and the glitter of the Miss World pageant took over everything else.
