The life of a garbage collector in a city like New Delhi is not easy. With millions of residents making tonnes of trash every day, the job must demand a lot especially when it's trash like the ones in the video. Physical safety seems to be of the least priority with these workers. Protective gloves are missing, no proper masks, shoes for these rag pickers trying to sort through the waste for possible recyclable items.
