Many pet lovers were delighted to attend the first of its kind mass wedding for dogs on 30th October 2008. It was the nation's first official dog marriage pageant! The special ceremony was organized in New Delhi at the Ansal Plaza amphitheatre. The mass wedding was hosted by Ansal Plaza to help pet lovers find mates for their pet dogs.
