Baba 'Major' Singh, a Nihang, a traditional Sikh religious warrior, wears an oversized 425-metre-long traditional turban at Anandpur Sahib, Punjab. Wildfilmsindia viewer Sidak Singh tells us that Sikhs never retire - they have to be ready for war at all times. And as far as the big dummala, they have good techniques for sword fighting chakar fight soti fight etc. Dummala sahib is the turban wore by nihang singhs. It can be as long as they want but it is very safe as it is wrapped up in many layers. Earlier in the battles of the Sikhs, it was very useful because their heads were safe with the turban on!
