Bali's Broken Beach at Nusa Penida is a spectacular beach formation with the ocean entering a rocky cove, and waves splashing up onto the steep black volcanic rocks and crashing back down as mini waterfalls! Broken Beach is an incredible little cove on Nusa Penida island. The highlight of the cove and the reason it is called Broken Beach is due to the archway that wraps around the bay allowing water to flow in and out from the ocean. It’s a very easy spot to visit and right next to another famous attraction, Angel’s Billabong. Broken Beach is known as Pasih Uug in the local language.
