The mobile shop, a unique feature of CCS: Consumer Co-operative Stores Ltd. It served 38 villages in South Andaman which were connected by road. The fury of rain and the fire of the tropical sun forbid the villagers to reach Port Blair to buy essentials, these mobile shops come as welcomed visitors in the olden days.
