Tibetans Buddhist monks recite their sutras and chant prayers inside a monastery in Dharamsala. The voice sounds deep and multi-phonic, more like the growl of a wild bull. The goal of this tantric chanting is to invoke and then unite with a particular deity or being. By doing this, the monks literally become the gods and goddesses to whom they are praying. A huge golden statue of Lord Gautama Buddha can be seen along with other statues.
