Chennai woman rescues a newborn stuck in drain

A woman takes out a newborn baby out of in stormwater drain with the umbilical cord still around his neck in Chennai. Locals residing in Valasaravakkam's SVS Nagar rushed to the baby's aid when a milkman informed 45-year-old homemaker Geetha about the child. According to reports, the baby was located with the help of his cries emerging from under a stormwater drain. As bystanders stood in shock, Geetha quickly managed to pull the baby out of the drain, bathe him and alert police about the child.
