TRADITION IN TRANSITION: Armed with a deep knowledge of the ancient tradition and a keen desire to create and refine the art, Guru Janmejoy Sai Babu brings to life unique items through Carolina's interpretation. Together they explore the classical potential of Mayurbhanj Chhau, combining tandava, lasya, martial vocabulary, and abhinaya. These items are the result of the experimental work that they have been carrying out for several years with the intention of broadening the method of expression and interpretation in this particular style.
