The environmental cost of religion! The diesel burned to move water for a ,massive temporary water tank for Ganesh idol immersion, to prevent immersion in the Yamuna river, to prevent water pollution. The plastic sheeting used for a one day water tank! Is it worth the environmental cost, to avoid another environmental cost of pollution? Can religion not be less polluting?
