At Dilli Haat in 2020, an enchanting Ladakh showcase brought Himalayan culture to life. Visitors admired traditional Tibetan and Ladakhi attire, such as the elegant Namjar, Saul, and Bakhu, each reflecting the region’s rich textile heritage and cold desert lifestyle. Stalls displayed authentic Ladakhi pottery, including Tibril and Meslang vessels, along with beautifully crafted hina dolls and traditional pots used in daily life. Colourful prayer flags fluttered overhead, symbolising peace and compassion, while handcrafted items showcased the artistic legacy of the trans-Himalayan region. The vibrant setting blended culture, craftsmanship, and spirituality, offering a glimpse into Ladakh’s timeless traditions in the heart of Delhi.
