Workers of Chennai snake park clean crocodile enclosure. Only person without fear can do that. You can see that lots of crocodiles are lying in the enclosure. They are risking their lives. It still remains a pretty dangerous animal, even though you think its just basking in the sun with its jaws open. The Chennai Snake Park Trust is a not-for-profit NGO constituted in 1972, primarily on the initiative of the well-known herpetologist, Romulus Whitaker. Seven of the trustees are elected and five are ex officio. The focal point of the Trust’s activities is the Chennai Snake Park established in 1972. It is located at Guindy, Chennai, on the Sardar Patel Road. The Snake Park occupies an area of one acre of land given on long-term lease by the Govt. of Tamil Nadu on a nominal rental. This footag
