A group of dancers performs Kachi Ghodi during Teej festival at Tripolia gate in Rajasthan. A man wears white costume with red turban and ride the dummy horses which is embroidered with amazing mirror work while other men plays instruments like hand drum, hand cymbals and flute. The Kachhi Ghodi Dance is one of the most popular Folk Dances of Rajasthan. This folk dance originated from the bandit regions of Shekhawati and is generally performed for the entertainment of the bridegroom’s party. The Kachhi Ghodi Dance Rajasthan represents the conflict of the bandits of the Bavaria clan of tribes with the passing masses.
