As seen Bengalis and non-Bengalis alike enjoy the delicious food available at food stalls in Mela Ground, C.R. Park. But nothing beats the long line for the delicious Navami bhog. During four-five days of Durga Puja, devotees of Goddess Durga offer her with variety of bhog, prasad and puja offerings till the time she departs for heaven. The bhog consists of scrumptious home-made Bengali cuisine. Traditionally the Durga Puja bhog is prepared by the best known traditional Bengali cooks called 'Thakurs'.
