See the Balahissar Fort around Kabul, Afghani men walking freely on the streets, the arid desert-like landscape, and homes up on the hill, made of mud and stone. Taliban members stand watch with semi-automatic rifles on their shoulders, as Afghan men are made to carry water up to their encampments, on large poles on their shoulders, with drums on either side. Afghan women crowd together in their various light to dark shades of blue burkhas, overseen by armed Taliban forces. They are standing in queue awaiting wheat and atta /flour rations to take home.
