Ashish Kumar an Indian gymnast from Allahabad won India's first-ever medals in gymnastics, in October 2010 at the 2010 Commonwealth Games held in New Delhi. He also won bronze (2006 Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships) and silver medals in different gymnastic events.
