Thanks to Ashwini Mardolkar, we now know that this is the Mandovi bridge and not the Zuari bridge! The Zuari bridge is is one of the most scenic and beautiful spots in Goa built across the Zuari river. The National Highway No. 17 runs through and is also considered a major link for two important districts of Goa. It links the capital city of Panaji in North Goa with Vasco da Gama and the Mormugao port in South Goa. The length of the bridge is 627 meters. It was constructed by Gammon India Limited and was completed in April 1983. This bridge has developed cracks time and again but with repairs and maintenance it sill is being used. It a longer when compared to the Mandovi bridge or Konkan railway bridge which runs parallel to it and is the longest bridge of the konkan railway. Goa's history
