Its one of the lost and forgotten monuments of Delhi. Delhi has these little nuggets of history, hidden inside residential townships, market places, often ignored and neglected, and integrated into the lives of locals in a manner that it ceases to exist as a vestige of the past. This minar, about 50 odd feet in height, lies in a crowded encroached area of the Hastsal village, not far from Uttam Nagar, in West Delhi. It is in one of the "urban villages" that make the kaleidoscope of modern city of Delhi. Old villages were subsumed into the metropolis, with some old houses and slums in and around the old habitations.
