The mystique and the simplicity of tempera paintings provided a visual delight to the connoisseur. Artists say that these paintings done on special paper by watercolors and ink are just as attractive as any other artform. B. B. Sikdar, Indian artist speaks about his paintings. He says, "Most artists use art colors but this is the first time I am using watercolor and ink and it is different from others."
