Our stay at Windermere Hotel in Munnar was ruined by the frequent outbursts of diesel smoke from the massive generators run by the folks at Fragrant Nature. Indeed, the only fragrance we received was that of diesel fumes. Massive new developments in Munnar have meant 8 to 10 storey buildings being allowed to be built in the Nilgiris. Is this how we prepare for earthquakes and landslides?
