Sulphurous water bubbles out from the womb of the earth. Many places in the Himalaya and hot water springs that carry sulphur in their water and are said to be salubrious to bathe in. People even place chapattis or rotis in the water, to cook them in the heat. Others cook rice in the heat of the water. This is a Sikh gurudwara called Manikaran Sahib in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The water bubbles out almost in a volcanic fashion - like lava. Anyone for piped geo-thermal energy in the Himalaya? Notice the swastik or swastika atop the Sikh temple or gurudwara.
