The first contingent is from the Punjab Regiment. The contingent is led by Lieutenant Ravi Kant Sharma of 15 Punjab. The Indian Navy’s Tableau have the theme “Indian Navy – Combat Ready Force for National Security”. The tableau showcases proudly illustrate the combat potential of the multi-dimensional Indian Navy of the 21st Century. An Indian Air Force Tableau rolls down the Rajpath with the theme “Indian Air Force Encouraging Indigenisation”. Models displayed in the tableau are Tejas Multirole Fighter Aircraft, Rudra Helicopter, Arudhra Radar and Akash missile system.
