Clive Hubert Lloyd CBE AO is a former West Indies cricketer. In 1971 he was named Wisden Cricketer of the Year. Clive lloyd speaks about his early training as a cricketer. He says " I started playing in our backyard and then I graduated to our club ground which is about 100 yard from where I live. But I think I was fortunate in the sense that I had someone to look up to and someone to emulate landscapes as you know my cousin. So I had an early sort of look at cricket and cricketers and the way they behave and you know that sort of thing, so it was inevitable that I would eventually play cricket because it was the only game that you know that was played quite in and around George Town."
