To send a Congress party signal out to potential voters, these pigeons are being thrown up into the air along with fire crackers to carry a Congress party flag on their necks and (supposedly) get votes for the Congress party in India. This is a gruesome act. We have posted this to highlight the cruelty involved and put a stop to this cheap practice for political gains, at the cost of the lives of these harmless birds, said to stand for peace, ironically! It was a bloody welcome for Andhra Pradesh Congress chief N Raghuveera Reddy as party members stuffed live doves into rocket cones and fired them on his arrival in Kovvuru town in West Godavari district.
