A highway crosses the mangroves of Goa, with the sea to one side, and an inland river. What fabulous coastal forests Goa has, too! The rocky shores and sands of the west coast of India are washed by the crystal clear waves of the Arabian Sea, south of Goa and along the Konkan coast. There are desolate and pristine stretches of sea beach all along the coast so one does not have to frequent the crowded beaches of Goa, mingling with sundry hippies, Israelis, Russian and mafia elements. India is truly there for the taking and enjoying for those of us Indians who want to search out the unfrequented...
